The US attacks hit the facilities of Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan, confirmed by President Donald Trump himself. These actions have generated a wave of concern in the international community, particularly in Latin America, where governments agree to reject the unilateral use of force.

The Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its deep concern about the increase in tensions between the United States and Iran, demanding that all parties involved urgently resume the path of negotiation as the only responsible and lasting solution.+

The statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that Colombia “rejects the unilateral use of force, especially when it violates the fundamental principles enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations and endangers international peace and stability.”

President Gustavo Petro had previously stated that the Trump administration should not participate in the war with Iran or the genocide over Gaza, but prevent them.

For his part, the President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, denounced the bombings as an aggression that “drags humanity into a crisis of irreversible consequences.”

The Cuban position, supported by Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez, descirbed the attack as a “criminal and irresponsible act” that violates the international nuclear security regime.

In the same line, the Venezuelan government categorically rejected the bombing carried out by the United States.

The official statement issued by the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry denounced the attack as “an illegal, unjustifiable, and extremely dangerous act of aggression” that violates the Charter of the United Nations and the fundamental principles of international law.

In addition, the Chilean president Gabriel Boric The Chilean leader Gabriel Boric was categorical in pointing out that attacking nuclear sites is prohibited by international law, directly condemning the US attack.

“We will defend respect for international humanitarian law in all instances. Having power does not authorize us to use it in violation of the rules that we as humanity have given ourselves. Even if you are the United States,” wrote Boric in his X account minutes after the aggression.

For its part, The Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued an urgent call for diplomatic dialogue, emphasizing that “the restoration of peaceful coexistence between the States of the region is the highest priority.”

The statement, headed by Foreign Minister Juan Ramón de la Fuente, urged the parties involved in the Middle East conflict to prioritize diplomatic channels over unilateral military actions.

Bolivian President Luis Arce condemned the US “arbitrary attack” on Iran’s nuclear facilities, arguing that such actions endanger regional and global peace, as well as violating international law and the UN Charter.

“Bombing targets of this nature not only endangers regional and global peace, but also violates fundamental principles of international law and the UN Charter,” said the Bolivian president on his social networks.

The US intervened in the conflict between Israel and Iran by bombing three Iranian nuclear facilities. President Trump justified the attack and threatened Iran with additional military action if it did not opt for peace, warning that future attacks would be even more forceful. Trump made the announcement after an attack in Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan.
