A group of Israeli settlers reportedly attacked Palestinian vehicles on Monday evening near the illegal Yitzhar settlement, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

Eyewitnesses told WAFA News Agency that settlers hurled stones at passing cars, shattering the windshield of at least one vehicle. No injuries were immediately reported, but the incident caused panic among drivers and passengers.

The area surrounding Yitzhar has become a frequent flashpoint for settler violence, with similar attacks on Palestinian vehicles and property reported in recent weeks.

Human rights groups have long warned that such assaults—often carried out under the protection or passive observation of Israeli forces—contribute to a climate of impunity and rising insecurity for Palestinian residents.

The attack comes amid a broader surge in settler violence across the West Bank, including recent incidents in Kafr Malik and Turmus Ayya, where settlers, sometimes accompanied by Israeli soldiers, have been accused of arson, shootings, and obstructing ambulances.

Israeli forces target media personnel in

Added to the crimes in Nablus, Israeli occupying forces on Monday evening directly targeted media personnel in the vicinity of Jenin Government Hospital and on the outskirts of the refugee camp, according to local sources and eyewitnesses.

They said that the gun-toting soldiers opened live fire at a group of journalists and photographers as the latter were reporting on Israel’s large-scale demolitions of commercial stores, putting their lives at risk.

Meanwhile, Israeli army bulldozers continued to raze the al-Hissan Roundabout and the vicinity of Jenin Government Hospital, tearing down residential buildings and stores, all as part of Israel’s plan envisaging the demolition of 95 houses in the refugee camp, marking a grave escalation against civilian infrastructure and vital amenities.

Since January 21, the occupying forces have waged a large-scale offensive on Jenin and its camp, resulting in the displacement of approximately 22,000 civilians, the killing of at least 40 others, and the injury of over 200 others.

In the course of this offensive, they have completely demolished over 600 houses and bulldozed nearly 15 roads, rendering the refugee camp virtually uninhabitable.
