Israeli forces bombed a tent sheltering displaced civilians in Khan Yunis, killing two Palestinians and injuring several others, according to WAFA correspondents.
Meanwhile, Israeli artillery shelled al-Qarara, northeast of Khan Yunis, while airstrikes targeted a house belonging to the Qudeih family near Al-Awda School in Abasan Al-Kabira, further intensifying the military campaign.
Israel unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement on March 18, resuming its full-scale assault, which has killed hundreds of Palestinians. The latest bombardments have brought the death toll to 3,901, with 11,088 others wounded, according to medical sources.
The humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate, with blocked medical and food supplies worsening the crisis. Since October 2023, Israel’s military aggression has killed 54,056 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured 123,129 others.
Additionally, at least 10,000 people remain unaccounted for, presumed dead beneath rubble across the enclave. The onslaught has also displaced nearly two million people, most of whom have been forced into the overcrowded city of Rafah, marking Palestine’s largest forced exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
