At least three Palestinians were killed and 35 others wounded in an Israeli attack near a humanitarian aid distribution center in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.
According to the Government Media Office in Gaza, Israeli forces “committed a new crime” by targeting civilians seeking food aid. This marks the second attack in 24 hours near the same distribution site, continuing what officials describe as a systematic starvation policy.
Since May 27, Israel has implemented a new aid distribution model, managed by U.S. contractors and the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation. However, Hamas claims that at least 52 Palestinians have been killed in massacres at these distribution centers in Rafah and Wadi Gaza.
Israeli drone attacks also killed eight Palestinians, including a child, in Jabalia and central Gaza.
- Four people died in Jabalia refugee camp.
- Three were killed in an airstrike on a municipal vehicle in Al-Bureij.
- A 13-year-old boy was shot by a drone near Al-Dahdouh roundabout in Gaza City.
Since October 7, 2023, the conflict has resulted in over 54,400 Palestinian deaths, mostly women and children, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.
