25 people were killed and dozens more wounded after an Israeli airstrike targeted Gaza’s Al-Rimal neighborhood west of Gaza City. The attack, which took place on Wednesday, struck a Thai restaurant and surrounding areas, according to reports from Hamas’ Health Ministry.
Civilian Casualties Mount as Airstrike Hits Gaza Restaurant
The bombing not only killed civilians but also claimed the life of a journalist. Civil Defense teams reported that since early Wednesday, Israeli attacks have resulted in a total of 66 deaths across Gaza, including 43 civilians in Gaza City.
Hamas Accuses Israel of ‘Systematic War of Extermination’
Hamas condemned the attack as a “massacre,” accusing Israeli forces of deliberately targeting civilian areas, including shelters and displacement centers. In a statement, the Palestinian movement described these actions as part of a “systematic war of extermination” aimed at maximizing civilian casualties and weakening Palestinian resistance through siege and starvation.
International Outrage Grows Over Escalating Gaza Violence
Hamas urgently called on the international community to take serious action to stop the violence and hold Israel accountable for what it called “war crimes and ethnic cleansing.” The group also urged Arab and Islamic nations, as well as global supporters, to increase pressure and demand justice through international courts.
The Al-Rimal bombing adds to a series of attacks worsening Gaza’s humanitarian crisis, raising alarm over civilians trapped in the conflict. As tensions escalate, the world watches with growing concern.
