On June 20, 2025, sirens echoed throughout Tel Aviv and surrounding regions in central occupied Palestine, following the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ (IRGC) announcement of its 18th wave of missile and drone attacks under the “True Promise 3” operation.

The IRGC launched a heavy barrage of Shahed-136 drones and precision-guided ballistic missiles targeting military and operational centers of the Israeli occupation forces. Videos captured smoke rising from buildings in Tel Aviv and Holon, with Israeli media reporting extensive damage and settlers trapped inside residential buildings. Alert sirens were heard from Netanya in the north to Ashdod in the south, reflecting the broad impact of the Iranian offensive.

Shortly after Iran’s missile wave, Israeli forces launched airstrikes against Iranian cities including Tehran, Qom, Tabriz, and Zanjan. Iranian air defenses activated to intercept Israeli missiles over Tehran and Isfahan, successfully neutralizing many targets. However, Israeli bombings caused civilian casualties, including two martyrs in Qom after an apartment building was hit, sparking fires and destruction.
