Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi declared on June 15, 2025, that the United States is complicit in Israel’s recent military aggression against Iran. Despite official U.S. denials, Araghchi asserted that Tehran holds “conclusive evidence” of American support for Israeli forces in the region, making Washington responsible for enabling these attacks.

He cited U.S. President Donald Trump’s own statements expressing explicit backing for Israel’s military steps and warned that Iran will continue its “legitimate defense with force.”

Araghchi reaffirmed Iran’s unwavering commitment to a peaceful nuclear program, emphasizing Tehran’s willingness to sign any agreement that guarantees it will not pursue nuclear weapons.

He stressed that Iran’s nuclear activities are fully compliant with international law and have been repeatedly verified by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The minister highlighted Iran’s rejection of any deal that would strip the country of its sovereign rights to develop nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, including vital sectors like medicine, agriculture, and environmental protection.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi:
-We have documents confirming the support of U.S. bases in the region for Israeli aggressions against Iran.
-We responded to Israeli aggression, and our right to self-defense is legitimate.
-Our responses will continue, and our goal is to defend ourselves from brutal aggression.
-We attacked military installations during the first night.
-During the second round yesterday, we attacked the Haifa oil refinery.
-I call on the International Atomic Energy Agency to condemn the Israeli aggression against the nuclear facilities in Natanz.
-Nuclear facilities are a red line, and attacking them constitutes a serious violation that the international community must condemn.
-Israeli Aggression Undermines Diplomatic Efforts

The Iranian minister condemned Israel’s attacks as a deliberate attempt to sabotage ongoing nuclear negotiations with the United States. He noted that Iran had engaged in multiple rounds of talks aimed at peaceful resolution but was forced to face this “imposed aggression.”

Araghchi accused the “Zionist regime” of opposing diplomacy and peace, insisting that Iran’s defensive actions are a legitimate response to external provocations. He made clear that should the aggressions cease, Iran’s defensive measures would naturally subside.
