Iran successfully conducted the third phase of attacks against Israel, in response to Israeli aggression against its nuclear program and civilian areas. These attacks, called Operation True Promise III, resulted in at least 11 deaths and more than 200 injuries, according to Israeli sources, and caused explosions in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard revealed in a statement on Sunday that the defensive operation True Promise III hit significant targets in Israel.

The IRGI detailed that the combined operation with the Yemeni Armed Forces reached facilities producing fuel for combat aircraft and electrical power supply centres.

The entity indicated that at least one hypersonic missile was launched against a refinery in Haifa, causing a fire, while other rockets were used against the Israeli nuclear plant Dimona, as another target recorded was an attack on the Weizmann Institute of Science in southern Tel Aviv, considered the technological backbone of Israel’s security sector.

On the other hand, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that during the early hours of this Sunday they attacked the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense in Iran and the Organization for Innovation and Research in Defense (SPND), in addition to other objectives related to the Iranian nuclear programme.

Press TV and the Tasnim agency, among other Iranian media, also reported a fire at the facilities of the Shahran refinery near Tehran, which was also reportedly hit. Iranian authorities have reported that since Israel began its military aggression last Friday, more than 100 people have been killed in the country, including high-ranking Iranian military commanders and nuclear scientists.
