Thousands of people gathered in cities including Tehran, Mashhad, Isfahan and Ahvaz, filling streets to condemn the attacks and express opposition to what protesters described as aggression against Iran’s sovereignty.
In the capital Tehran, crowds assembled along Komeil Street, chanting slogans against what demonstrators referred to as the “U.S.-Zionist alliance.” Protesters denounced strikes targeting strategic installations and senior political leadership, describing them as a violation of international law.
The demonstrations began spreading across several provinces on Saturday and intensified following the death of Jamenei, who Iranian supporters describe as a martyr of the attacks.
The mobilizations come after a military offensive launched on February 28 by the United States and Israel under the name “Operation Epic Fury.” According to the information provided, the campaign involved more than 6,500 airstrikes targeting strategic infrastructure as well as residential areas and schools.
Reports indicate that at least 1,230 people have been killed since the beginning of the offensive. Among them were 171 victims, most of them girls, who died when a school in Minab, in southern Iran, was struck.
Despite continued bombardments reported by correspondents in the country, residents in several areas have continued gathering in the streets.

Participants in marches in the western province of Ilam said the attacks had not deterred the population. “The airstrikes seek to intimidate the people, but they have only strengthened our determination,” demonstrators said.
In the city of Taleqan, residents marched despite snowfall and low temperatures, according to reports from the Iranian channel Press TV.
In Isfahan and Ahvaz, spontaneous gatherings grew into larger demonstrations condemning what participants described as attempts by Washington and Tel Aviv to undermine Iran’s sovereignty.
The protests remain active across the country as demonstrations continue in response to the attacks and the killing of Jamenei.
