The seventh wave of missiles fired by Iran into Israeli territory since the escalation between the two countries began set off alarms in Israel on Sunday, after the army announced minutes before it detected the launch from the Islamic republic.

“Defense systems operate to intercept the threat,” the armed forces announced as anti-aircraft sirens rang in Jerusalem and other parts of the country.
