The Iranian police announced on Sunday the arrest of two agents of the Israeli spy agency Mossad in Savjbolagh county, northwest of the Iranian capital.

“The two suspects were members of a Mossad terrorist cell operating from a safe house, where they were producing bombs, explosive materials, booby traps, and electronic equipment,” explains the Iranian news agency IRNA.

Iranian officials have said that details and confessions from the detainees will be released soon, noting that the operation is part of ongoing efforts to counter foreign intelligence threats within Iran’s borders.

Iran and Israel experienced another night of crossfire. Israeli shells hit at least two energy facilities in Tehran, while Iran launched two waves of missiles and drones against the Israeli state.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard claimed attacks on jet fuel production facilities and “power centers” in Israel. Israeli media confirmed attacks in Bat Yam and Shekhela, resulting in eight dead and 150 wounded.

Since Israel began its offensive against Iran on the night of Thursday to Friday, more than 100 people have been killed in the Persian country, Including members of the Iranian military leadership and nuclear scientists working on the country’s uranium enrichment projects.

In this context, the commander-in-chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s army has promised an unwavering defense of Iran’s independence and territorial integrity against Israeli attacks, stating that the army will attack Israel harshly in response to its acts of aggression.

General Amir Hatami expressed his gratitude to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution for his appointment and pledged to protect the independence, territorial integrity and sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
