Since June 13, Israeli attacks on Iran have left at least 232 dead and over 1,000 injured.
On Tuesday, Iranian Foreign Affaris Ministry spokesperson Ismail Baqaei accused the Group of Seven (G7) of ignoring Israel’s blatant aggression against Iranian territory and called on permanent members of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to immediately stop the aggressor.

“The G7 leaders’ statement has glaringly ignored the flagrant aggression against Iran, as well as the illegal attacks on our peaceful nuclear infrastructure,” Baqaei said.
Earlier on Monday, the G7 accused Iran of being “the primary source of instability and terrorism” in the Middle East and reaffirmed its stance that Tehran “must not, under any circumstances, acquire a nuclear weapon.” The group also called for resolving the crisis and de-escalation, including a cease-fire in Gaza.
“The G7 must abandon its one-sided rhetoric and address the real source of escalation: Israel’s aggression,” Baqaei said, adding that the path to regional stability lies in immediately halting Israel’s actions and holding it accountable.
He also urged UNSC members to “fulfill their legal and moral responsibility in the face of a horrific act of aggression,” stating that Israel’s offensive deals “a damaging blow” to the U.N. Charter and international law, as well as an unprecedented attack on non-proliferation principles.
“Israel has waged an unprovoked war of aggression against Iran and attacked Iranian nuclear sites” in violation of the U.N. Charter, Baqaei said, adding that “hundreds of innocent people have been killed” and public facilities and civilian homes “brutally destroyed.”
“UNSC members must act now in line with the Council’s primary responsibility and stop the aggressor from committing further atrocities,” he added.
Since June 13, Israeli attacks on Iran have left at least 232 dead and over 1,000 injured across the Persian nation. Iran has responded with repeated waves of missile and drone strikes against Israel, killing 24 people and wounding 647, according to the national emergency service Magen David Adom.
