Yemen’s Houthi rebels claimed responsibility this Sunday for three drone attacks against Israeli military targets in the Jaffa, Ashkelon, and Haifa areas as part of their operations in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

“The Unmanned Air Force of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out three qualitative military operations against three targets of the Israeli enemy, using three drones,” said the spokesman for the Shiite insurgents, Yahya Sarea, in a statement.

According to Sarea, “two of the operations targeted two military objectives of the Zionist enemy in the Jaffa and Ashkelon areas, while the third targeted the port of Haifa, in occupied Palestine.”

However, he did not add details about possible casualties or material damage caused by these attacks.

In his statement, he stressed the support of the Houthis of Yemen with the Palestinian people “while they are subjected to killings and hunger by aggression and siege.”

“Silence on the genocidal war against our brothers in Gaza is a disgrace and a shame that will continue to haunt this nation throughout its history, and its consequences will be disastrous for all peoples and all countries, sooner or later,” he concluded.

Last Wednesday, they claimed responsibility for an attack with a hypersonic ballistic missile against Ben Gurion Airport, in Tel Aviv, an action that the Israeli Army intercepted.

Since the beginning of the Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the Houthi rebels of Yemen, backed by Iran, have launched hundreds of missiles against Israeli territory in a sign of support for the Palestinians in the enclave.
