The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has called for global demonstrations this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, urging the international community to demand an end to the genocide and starvation in Gaza.

With 600 days approaching since Israel launched its military assault, Hamas has urged people worldwide to raise their voices against the ongoing war crimes and humanitarian catastrophe.

In an official statement, Hamas called for “days of global rage” through mass protests, marches, and sit-ins in cities and public squares across the world from May 30 to June 1.

Declaring the military offensive a “Zionist Holocaust,” Hamas encouraged all nations to mobilize in a week-long campaign against Israel’s deadly blockade and aggression in Gaza.

The movement accused Israel of expanding its war of annihilation against unarmed civilians, including children and women. Since October 2023, the Israeli offensive has killed at least 54,056 Palestinians and injured 123,129 others, the majority of whom are women and children.

Medical reports indicate that since March 18, when Israel unilaterally resumed hostilities, 3,901 Palestinians have been killed and 11,088 wounded, following the failure of a temporary ceasefire agreement.

In recent months, major protests have erupted worldwide in solidarity with Palestine, with citizens mobilizing in London, New York, Jakarta, and Cape Town to condemn Israeli actions and demand an end to the blockade.
