Ghana has reported 34 new cases of Mpox, bringing the total number of confirmed infections to 79, according to the Ghana Health Service (GHS).

Health officials confirmed that four patients are currently hospitalized, while contact tracing efforts continue to contain the outbreak.

Mpox cases have now been detected in more than ten regions, prompting heightened monitoring and public health advisories. Authorities urge citizens to seek medical attention if they experience rash, fever, swollen lymph nodes, or muscle pain.

Mpox, formerly known as monkeypox, is a viral disease spread through close contact with infected individuals, animals, or contaminated materials.
