At least 92 Palestinians were killed across the Gaza Strip on Thursday, including 45 people waiting for humanitarian aid, as Israeli forces intensified their attacks on civilian areas, according to medical sources and local journalists.

One of the deadliest incidents occurred near the Tahlia area in eastern Khan Younis, where Israeli forces opened fire on a crowd gathered for food distribution. Seven civilians were killed and dozens more critically injured.

Earlier in the day, 13 people were killed in airstrikes on Gaza City and Deir al-Balah, including four civilians struck by an Israeli drone near the Al-17 roundabout.

In Al-Ghafari neighborhood on Yafa Street, four more Palestinians were killed in an airstrike. The victims were identified as Mohammad Saeed Ghazal, Amjad Khalil Al-Bahtini, and Mohammad Khalil Al-Bahtini.

Israeli artillery also shelled eastern Gaza City, killing one person and injuring several others. In Al-Bureij, a strike on the Ayedoun camp for displaced persons left four civilians dead, with reports of dismembered and burned bodies.

Since the start of the war on October 7, 2023, Gaza’s Health Ministry reports at least 57,130 Palestinians killed and over 135,173 injured. Thousands remain trapped under rubble, unreachable due to ongoing bombardments.

Human rights organizations, including Amnesty International, have condemned the militarization of aid distribution, calling it a “death trap” for starving civilians. The UN Security Council and the International Court of Justice have both issued calls for an immediate ceasefire and measures to prevent genocide.
