The number of children who have died in Gaza due to malnutrition or hunger since the start of the Israeli offensive reached 100 as of Sunday, according to the latest count published by the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

This means that nearly half of the total deaths from malnutrition, which now stand at 217, have been minors during these almost two years of Israeli attacks on Gaza.
On Saturday, the hospitals in the Gaza Strip recorded five deaths from starvation, including two children, according to the Health Ministry’s statement.
In July, the number of deaths due to food shortages surged after months of Israel blocking humanitarian aid from entering, as Israel controls all access points to the territory.
From March 2 to May 19, the blockade was total, and now the flow of aid remains extremely limited and inadequate, humanitarian organizations report.
On Sunday, the Zionist regime stated that during the last week—from August 3 to 9—1,900 trucks of humanitarian aid were “collected and distributed” in Gaza, averaging 270 trucks per day, far below the 600 that humanitarian organizations say are necessary to meet the needs of Gazans.
