Padrino López denounced, “He has violated the aeronautical security system, he has violated the flight information region, which is violating aeronautical regulations,” while emphasizing the moment in which the spy plane’s incursion occurred: “they felt like doing it during elections.”

The Government welcomed the normal conduct of the elections and expressed its appreciation for the confidence placed in the Revolutionary National Armed Forces, stressing that security was guaranteed during the process without incident at the national level.

The impeccable implementation of the Republic Plan, even in remote areas, was highlighted and it was pointed out that these elections mark the end of a cycle of power changes.

Regarding Marco Rubio’s statements about the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, whom he accused of being “the leader of the Cartel of the Suns,” Padrino López described these statements as an “action of imperialism trying to impose a narrative,” in response to which he expressed “support for our constitutional president who has been an example to the FANB and the people of Venezuela.”

Finally, Padrino López emphasized that the FANB “will be patrolling all the streets and guaranteeing internal order and the defense of all our sovereignty and keeping an eye on any expression of violence by gangs with political aims and destabilization of the Venezuelan State.”
