Israeli forces have carried out another deadly assault on civilians waiting for humanitarian aid near the Netzarim checkpoint, killing at least 42 people and injuring over 200 others.

The attack comes just a day after 57 Palestinians were killed in a similar incident at the same location. Witnesses report that Israeli drones and military vehicles opened fire on displaced civilians gathered to receive food parcels.

Elsewhere in Gaza, Israeli forces targeted civilians near another aid distribution center in Rafah, killing three displaced individuals in a drone strike on a tent shelter.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) has condemned the Israeli-American aid distribution mechanism, calling it dangerous and humiliating. The agency warns that the system places Palestinian lives at risk and lacks coordination with established humanitarian bodies.
