“We strongly condemn the US bombing of Iran’s nuclear facilities, which constitutes a dangerous escalation of the conflict in the Middle East,” the president wrote on his X account.

“The aggression seriously violates the UN Charter and international law and drags humanity into a crisis of irreversible consequences,” recalled the Cuban president in his message.

In the same line, the Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez condemned what he described as a “direct U.S. aggression against Iran”.

“It is a criminal, irresponsible and violating act of international law with incalculable consequences. It violates the international nuclear safety regime and the standards and safeguards of the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency)”, added the Cuban chancellor on his social networks. “It constitutes an escalation of unjust war,” he stressed.

Trump confirmed that the US had “successfully” completed an attack on three Iranian nuclear facilities including Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan.

According to Pentagon sources, the bombing was carried out in Fordow, the heart of Iran’s uranium enrichment process under a mountain armored, with B-2 bombers, which can transport and launch anti-bunker bombs GBU-57 of more than 13,000 kilograms.

Iran, which has repeatedly denied developing nuclear weapons, has been exchanging airstrikes with Israel since 13 June, when the Israeli army bombed nuclear and military facilities on Iranian territory.
