Simultaneously, an emergency cesarean section was conducted to deliver the baby at 34 weeks gestation. The newborn was admitted to neonatal care and placed on respiratory support, with medical staff expressing cautious optimism about her condition.

Victim Was on Medical Leave Without Service Weapon

Authorities confirmed that the woman was on medical leave at the time of the shooting and did not have her service weapon with her. She remains in intensive care with a guarded prognosis.
