4th Eurasian Economic Forum Kicks Off in Minsk

Belarus is hosting the forum alongside the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.

On Thursday, the fourth Eurasian Economic Forum kicked off in Minsk to boost cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

Belarus, which holds the EAEU chairmanship in 2025, is hosting the forum alongside the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, where the heads of state of EAEU member countries gather together.

The forum, with the theme of “Strategy of Eurasian Economic Integration: Results and Prospects,” will last for two days. A total of 35 events will take place within the framework of the forum.

“Over 2,700 representatives from government bodies, the business community, international organizations, and the media are expected to participate,” Alpha News reported.

“In addition to delegates from EAEU member states, the forum will welcome participants from 26 other countries, including India, Mongolia, Myanmar, China, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Cuba, the UAE, Pakistan, Iran, Italy, Azerbaijan, and others,” it added

The forum is an annual business event of the EAEU. It is a platform for business leaders, government officials, and representatives from EAEU member states, third countries, and international organizations to discuss economic collaboration.
