“This new Zionist aggression confirms the savage, immoral and inhuman face of the Tel Aviv regime against the Syrian nation and the flagrant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of this country, as well as the premeditated intention to continue with the expansionist war policy in the region and the continuation of abominable crimes against peoples who have chosen to be free.”
That reads a statement released by the Venezuelan FM Yván Gil, in which he makes clear that the South American country reiterates its strongest repudiation of the arrogant acts of the Zionist entity which cause the death of thousands of people, and produce multiple injuries and result in the destruction of entire communities.
Gil recalled this kind of violent aggressions generate a dangerous and growing escalation of political and military tension in the Middle East as part of the repeated and flagrant Israeli violations of Syrian territory and other states.
“The Bolivarian government urges the international community to take firm action to put a definitive end to the repeated attacks and violations of international law by the Zionist entity and its collaborators against the peoples of Palestine, Syria and Lebanon,” reads the statement.
Venezuela reiterates its heartfelt words of encouragement, peace and comfort to the families and friends of the victims “for such irreparable losses, while we wish for the prompt recovery of the wounded and for justice and absolute peace to prevail throughout the region.”
