President Maduro Reinstates the Ludovico Silva Comprehensive Diagnostic Center

The institution was attacked by criminals paid for by the extreme right after the presidential elections.

The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reopened this Wednesday the Integral Diagnosis Center (CDI) and the Integral Rehabilitation Room (SRI) “Ludovico Silva” in the sector El Cementerio of the Santa Rosalía parish of Caracas (capital), which was attacked by criminals paid for by the extreme right after the presidential elections.

During the event, the head of state stressed the importance of rehabilitating this health facility, which has the capacity to care for about 400 patients a day and benefits more than 67,000 inhabitants.

The president said that the violent actions that occurred in the nation after July 28 targeted the property of the people and the state, are similar to what happened at the Night of the Long Knives in Berlin, capital of Germany, under the leadership of Adolf Hitler.

“In 48 hours we defeated them and restored peace, control, tranquility and security throughout the national territory,” he said.

The president also announced that on this day the home of one of those involved in Petare was raided, where a lot of money and boxes of the drug Captagon, which is produced in the United States, were found.

“We were the victim of a fascist, criminal attack. Are those people ready to rule this country in peace? In Venezuela, a battle is being fought for Venezuela and humanity. Here we are defeating fascism,” he said.

The president also warned about the use of communication technologies as tools for espionage and coercion.

“I will insist on warning that WhatsApp is spying on all its users. It has been used to threaten leaders of the Popular Power, social movements, the military and police family”, he warned.

Likewise, he confirmed that «national union and peace are the two fundamental requirements to make Venezuela take off towards the future».
