Police Forces Repress Pro-palestine Manifestation in New York

Local media assured that the police arrested approximately 22 people, after the marchers held a sit-in in front of the cultural institution, and were accused of breaking the law.
On Saturday, United States (US) police forcesrepressed a pro-Palestinian demonstration in front of the Brooklyn Museum, located in the Brooklyn neighborhood of New York City.

Local media assured that the police arrested approximately 22 people, after the marchers held a sit-in in front of the cultural institution, and were accused of breaking the law.
During the sit-in, demonstrators chanted pro-Latin slogans and carried signs reading: “Free Palestine, stop its genocide”. Also, a giant banner with that text was displayed on the six columns of the facade of the cultural institution.
Demonstrations of support for Palestine and of disagreement with the acts of genocide committed by Israel began to take hold since last April in many nations of the world.
This weekend also reports marches in the Danish capital, Copenhagen, in solidarity with Gaza and against genocide.
During the 24th day of the isolation of occupation forces in Gaza and the West Bank, the number of Palestinians killed is 36,379, due to the constant aggression of Israeli forces.
