teleSUR english is searching for a web writer to join our team in Mexico City.
The candidate must have previous experience in digital journalism, interest in geopolitics, global south integration, and social movements agenda.
The candidate must have a high English proficiency with outstanding writing and editing skills.
The writer will be expected to:
- Pitch compelling stories in compliance with teleSUR’s editorial policy
- Deliver news and current affairs assignments in a timely manner
- Work with other departments to arrange a variety of multimedia content.
Desirable skills:
- A good working level of Spanish
- SEO proficiency
- Social media management experience
- Knowledge of history and current political processes in Latin America, Africa, and the Caribbean
