Both Argentine teams are getting ready for the final match of the Copa Libertadores de America, in Madrid.

The Boca Juniors team arrived at Madrid, on Wednesday, to get ready for the Final match of the Copa Libertadores de America (America's Liberators Cup), that ironically will be played in Madrid on Sunday, after the match was postponed due to an attack to the Boca team was perpetrated by River Plate's fans.

The River Plate team will arrive at the Spanish capital on Thursday morning, a 28 person delegation of players and technical team have already left the Ezeiza airport in Buenos Aires. Boca and River's teams will start their training sessions on Thursday afternoon, to get ready for the match that will be played on Sunday at 8:30 p.m. local time.

The final match of the 58th edition of the Copa Libertadores will be played in Madrid, which is a first, because River Plate fans attacked the bus in which Boca players were going to the Monumental (River's) Stadium to play the match on Nov. 24th. The first match of the final was played on Sunday, Nov. 11th, in the "Bombonera" (Boca's) stadium and ended on a 2-2 draw.

The South American football governing body, the CONMEBOL, decided that the match should not be played in Argentina, and would be played in Madrid instead. Both teams appealed the decision of playing in Madrid, but the match will happen on Sunday.

"River Plate announces that it will take legal action and the pertinent appeals in relation to what was resolved on the date of the match by the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) and its Disciplinary Court, in relation to the change of venues arranged for the final match of the Copa Libertadores 2018, the economic sanction and the prohibition of competing with the public two official matches organized by CONMEBOL," River Plate stated.

Argentine Star footballer Lionel Messi will be present in the Santiago Bernabeu stadium to watch this final of the Libertadores, as was stated by the Royal  Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) that he had confirmed his attendance. Hundreds of Boca and River fans have also already left Buenos Aires to attend this unusually historical final.
