Bolivia: 2019 Oruro's Carnival Shows Off Multicultural Symbols

Bolivia's most famous carnival is celebrated in Oruro, a city at 3,700m high which was an important pre-Columbian ritual place before becoming a mining center in the 19th century. Since 2001, Unesco considers Oruro's carnival as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
