”The wall is a message in itself,“ the artist who said he painted the mural overnight, told Reuters.

The Israeli Prime Minister, Netanyahu and the U.S. President, Trump, are seen kissing in a mural on the Bethlehem wall. The mural was painted by a Melbourne-based artist, Lushsux, who hopes to draw the attention of the Palestinian people who are in "an indoor prison."

The mural is seen with the bubble quotes, with Netanyahu saying, "Thanks for the wall Trumpy Pumpkin" and Trump responding, " BeBe, Your country and you will always come first, my love..."

”The wall is a message in itself,“ the artist who said he painted the mural overnight, told Reuters.

"I don’t need to write ‘Free Palestine’ or something like that, something really direct ... that people will ignore," he added.

Lushsux gained prominence after some of his provocative art became viral last year. In 2016,  two of his works, where he painted half naked U.S. figures, Hillary Clinton and Melania Trump, went viral, after which Instagram shut his account for a time. The artist went public criticizing the medium.

The artist has done a number of Donald Trump murals in Melbourne. In one such mural, he depicted Trump and Hillary kissing, captioning it as "When you're both pieces of sh** but it works."

The Bethlehem wall has increasingly become known for protest art where a lot of the work showcases Palestinians’ fears that Israel’s West Bank barrier is a land grab which may deny them a state.

Earlier this year, renowned British political artist, Banksy also opened the "Walled Off hotel" overlooking the wall.

Banksy said the hotel has the "worst view in the world."
