One Muslim player on the Oklahoma City Thunder has changed his team's diet.

One NBA team is hooked on halal food, thanks to a Muslim teammate that uses separate kitchenware for his meals and towels as prayer rugs.

The Oklahoma City Thunder’s Enes Kanter, who hails from Turkey and plays as the reserve center, tantalized his teammates’ taste buds with his halal dinners, which they now cannot do without.

“It’s like a mini-party,” Thunder medical director Donnie Strack told the Wall Street Journal. “Everyone wants to steal Enes’s food.”

On the road, officials have to order halal food in advance to satisfy the players’ appetites. Center Steven Adams first started the trend, but others soon joined in, eyeing the lamb.

With over 8,000 restaurant choices across the United States, Kanter insists that the best is the team kitchen.
