Sanders Outraised and Outspent Clinton in February

In total Sanders has raised almost US$140 million, donated by nearly two million people who would give small contributions online.

Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders outraised Clinton for the second month in a row, with US$43.5 million compared with her US$30.1 million, according to a Sanders campaign official Sunday, reported the Washington Post.

The report also found that he spent much more than her on the same period of time, with US$40.9 million compared with Clinton's $34.3 million. Nevertheless about US$17.2 million was left on the Vermont senator's bank account in the beginning of March, while Clinton had US$30.8 million.

Since the beginning of the electoral campaign, Sanders has raised almost US$140 million, donated by nearly two million people who would give small contributions online.

As for Clinton, she counts so far with one million donors, who gave a larger amount of money of about US$161 million.
