Last week, more than 250 rabbis were signatories to a letter denouncing a recent pro-LGBT campaign help in Israel.

The rabbis accuse the LGBT advocacy groups of "aggressive terrorism" and "brainwashing the media as if there is some kind of family concept" in order to "turn the perverts into heroes."
The group of clergymen, in the statement, said the LGBT "will not succeed nor will the attempt to silence rabbis and sane people and turn them into delusional extremists."
The head of the Be Free Israel advocacy group for religious freedom, Uri Kedar, decried the sentiment of the letter and referred to the rabbis as “Ayatollahs.”
“A large number of this group of lunatics receive a salary from the State of Israel, and the silence of Prime Minister [Benjamin] Netanyahu and Justice Minister [Ayelet] Shaked shows… that they have no intention to do anything to stop these religious people who have no god.”
The letter released by the group also said that children who are born via surrogacy to gay couples "will be miserable if they are not adopted in normal families".
