Ilhan Omar's face showed up near a Republican stall in a poster that linked her with 9/11.

An anti-Muslim poster seen outside of the chamber of the West Virginia house of delegates showed a picture of 9/11 and Ilhan Omar together with the words, "Never forget - you said. I am the proof - you have forgotten."

The Congresswoman from Minnesota slammed the poster saying that the "anti-Muslim display likening me to a terrorist" encourages threats of violence against her.

"No wonder I am on the 'hitlist' of a domestic terrorist and 'Assassinate Ilhan Omar' is written on my local gas stations," she said. "Look no further, the GOP's [Republican] anti-Muslim display likening me to a terrorist rocks in state capitols and no one is condemning them."

West Virginia Republican said that they do not support hate speech. “Our party supports freedom of speech but we do not endorse speech that advances intolerant and hateful views,” chairwoman Melody Potter said in a statement.

The poster was next to ACT for America which is classified as "an anti-Muslim hate group" by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Ilhan Omar has come under attack by right-wing politicians for her open criticism against Israel lobby’s influence on U.S. politics.
