A news reporter was silenced and subsequently kicked out of Donald Trump’s press conference on Tuesday when he asked him about immigration reform.
When Jorge Ramos, a Univision and Fusion reporter, asked “Mr. Trump, I have a question about immigration,” the Republican presidential candidate responded saying “Sit down. You weren’t called. Sit down!”
Despite Trump’s order to have Ramos sit down for another reporter’s question, the U.S.-Latino journalist persisted.
Ramos continued: “You cannot deport 11 million people. You cannot build a 1,900 mile wall. You cannot deny citizenship to children in this country.”
A security guard proceeded to take Ramos out of the press conference, to which he responded, “Don’t touch me, sir. I have the right to ask a question,” until he was ushered out.
Jorge Ramos is one of the few to ask tough questions. His voice matters for all immigrants. #WhatImmigrantsLookLike https://t.co/NO1h1rQJcD

According to news agency Fusion, Ramos was eventually invited back into the press conference in Dubuque, Iowa, and asked Trump about his proposal to build a 1,900-mile-long wall along the Mexican border, and how he would actually complete such a project.
“I’m a builder,” Trump reportedly replied. “That’s easy.”
