Outgoing President Nicolas Maduro, leading the Broad Front, held a meeting at the Parq Ezequiel Zamora in Caracas, giving a speech to the workers as they were marching across the capital for the celebrations of Labor Day.

“Only with the Revolution we can dream about a new hope, an economic rebirth, and we can make it a reality by working together,” he said.

The candidate for Hope for Change, Javier Bertucci, held a meeting in Valencia, State of Carabobo, in the Avenue Sesquicentenaria.

“On May 20th we will vote in order to retrieve dignity for the Venezuelans, we will choose change for Venezuela.”

As for Henri Falcon, leader of the Movement for Socialism, as well as the traditional parties AP and Copei, he said during a press conference in Caracas that he was negotiating with other presidential hopeful Luis Alejandro Ratti in order to present a common candidacy.

Ratti confirmed on twitter that he would support the idea.
