Biles dropped the bombshell on the eve of Nassar's day of reckoning, after admitting to assaulting seven female gymnasts. The disgraced former medic was incarcerated for 60 years, in Dec. 2017, on child pornography charges.

The 20-year-old American said she was initially conflicted about making her story public. Biles eventually posted a lengthy declaration on social media.

She posted on Twitter: “Most of you know me as a happy, giggly, and energetic girl. But lately, I've felt a bit broken and the more I try to shut off the voice in my head the louder it screams. I am not afraid to tell my story anymore. I too am one of the many survivors that was sexually abused by Larry Nassar.”

Multiple high-profile gymnasts came out against Nassar. His list of accusers including six-time Olympic medalist Aly Raisman, 2012 all-around champion Gabby Douglas and two-time Olympic medalist McKayla Maroney.

On Monday, Raisman posted on Twitter that Nassar's sentencing would be “too traumatic” for her to experience, and will not attend Nassar's sentence is scheduled to be handed down.

"I am so proud of you. You are incredible Simone," Raisman acknowledging Biles' statement. "I stand with you. I am shaking reading your post. I know we will all get through this together."

Biles is currently in training for the upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020.

The 54-year-old will hear the testimonies of about 100 of the more than 140 women and girls who were sexually assaulted by him before he is sentenced, CNN said.

Nassar served as the team doctor for the U.S. women's elite program for two decades.

In Nov., Nassar pleaded guilty to seven counts of criminal sexual conduct.
