The Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) on Monday expressed its support for the nomination of President Nicolás Maduro to the presidential elections and signed with the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), a unitary programmatic agreement to strengthen the development of the Bolivarian Revolution and socialism in the country.

The document includes 17 points for the vindication of social struggles, the protection of workers and the evaluation of social, economic and political actions.
The PCV is an organization that was founded on March 5, 1931, to work for the working class and peasant, based on Marxist-Leninist ideals.
The candidate of the revolutionary forces, Nicolás Maduro, will formalize his registration on Tuesday to measure himself in the electoral contest in search of reelection for the presidential term 2019-2025.
