Arsenal is desperate, while Liverpool says it is in dire need of Chicharito, and Tottenham Hotspur simply wants a productive forward.

Mexican striker Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez keeps making headlines due to his extraordinary performance since arriving in Germany to play with the Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen and after recently suggesting he would not continue with the team past his summer, which has created interest among three Premier League teams as his transfer fee doubles.

In fact, according to ESPN, Arsenal says it is desperate to sign on the Mexican forward, who has so far scored 19 goals in 20 appearances for Leverkusen, while being named twice the Bundesliga player of the month.

“Javier Hernandez could eventually land in a new team soon after letting out a rant that he doesn’t expect himself suiting up for Bayer Leverkusen next season,” stated Don Balon and Latin Post.

The 27-year-old Mexican soccer player caught the attention after that statement of at least three teams who believe they could do well with his services.

Besides Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have expressed hope they can bring Chicharito to their line-ups.

“I do not know if I will play next season at Bayer,” Chicharito said, despite the fact that he only arrived at Bundesliga last Summer from Manchester United, and in spite of Leverkusen executives saying they have no intention of selling him.

“In this sport, it does not matter if you sign a contract for 10 years or 10 times to extend one year,” Chicharito told Don Balon.

Tottenham is thinking Hernandez would be perfect to team up with Harry Kayne, while Arsenal has said they would put him alongside Oliver Gould and Joel Campbell.

And Liverpool has suggested they are in dire need of Chicharito, as they have struggled with Daniel Sturridges continuous injuries, and the fact that Christian Benteke has been performing poorly.
