A fight between a female passenger and a bus driver in Chongqing resulted in a bus plunging 50m (164ft) off a bridge into the Yangtze River, Friday. 

Security footage from a bus has revealed that it crashed into the Yangtze River, in Chongqing after a female passenger attacked a bus driver.

The bus crashed into a bridge at full-speed, colliding with a car on the way. It is not known the condition of the passengers in the car. However, 13 of the bus passengers died on impact while two are still missing. 

People's Daily reported that the fight was caused when 48-year-old woman Liu got angry after the bus missed her stop. She then proceeded to throw her cellphone at the bus driver, named Ran when he refused to stop.

Comments on social media are blaming the passenger for the crash, though some also criticize the driver for reacting.

Divers retrieved the bodies of 13 passengers, while those missing are presumed dead.
