Labour MP Jeremy Corbyn recently gave a talk in support of the progressive governments in Latin America, but also warning about United States interference.

Thousands turned out to a London rally on Thursday in support of Venezuela and called on the United States to end the sanctions and interventions on the country.

The key note speaker was Labour MP Jeremy Corbyn, who has put his hat in the ring to be the next Labour leader.

He said that what Latin America needs now is “solidarity... not a dependence on the USA.”  But he also asks, “is it that different from (how the USA acted toward) the government of Salvador Allende in Chile?”
