According to O Globo, Osorio tried to fly this week to Curitiba from an air base in Rio de Janeiro. He demanded Air Force officers let him fly because he was a state minister, but his request was denied and this became known to interim President Temer.
Minister of Planning Romero Juca and Minister of Transparency Fabiano Silveira Monitoring and Control both resigned weeks ago after an audio conversation was leaked that implicated them in a plan to avoid an investigation over the Petrobras corruption scheme known as Operation Car Wash.
