TeleSUR was denied accreditation for the press conference by the Lima Group in Ottawa.

Activists interrupted the final declaration of the self-styled Grupo de Lima with the slogan "Hands off Venezuela" to denounce the coup that the United States intends to perpetrate along with the national right.

The interruption was recorded while Canada's Foreign Minister, Chrystia Freeland, held a press conference this afternoon with her counterpart Néstor Popolizio in Ottawa.

Over the weekend, Canada denied accreditation to TeleSUR for the meeting. "Those who speak of freedom, demonstrate in each action, how much they do not know its meaning", denounced the president of the multistate channel, Patricia Villegas.

The self-styled Grupo de Lima is a lobby against Venezuela composed of countries with right-wing governments.
