The twelve thai boys and their futbol coach, who were recently rescued from the Tham Luang cave in Thailand, are recovering at a good pace and will be discharged next Thursday, health minister Piyasakol Sakolsatayadorn announced Saturday.

Sakolsatayadorn told Thai authorities that they must prepare the boys and their families “for the attention of the public and the media that waits for them immediately after they are discharged.”
During the press conference the ministry also showed a video of the 12 youngsters thanking their rescuers and confirming they are in good health.
Some of the boys had pneumonia when they were rescued, the minister said, confirming they are recovering and will be able to leave the Hospital next week.
The boys, aged 11 to 16, and the 25-year-old coach were rescued by Thai navy Seals and an international team of cave-diving experts in the course of three days after being trapped in a flooded cave for over two weeks.
