Ramadan Celebrations Across the World

IN PICTURES: Ramadan is celebrated until June 24.

Across the world, millions of people are observing the Ramadan, a period which commemorates the first revelation of the Quran to Muhammad.

As part of Ramadan, Muslims fast between dawn and sunset, coming together for evening and pre-dawn meals.
