'Love is Love': LGBT Pride Parades in Chile, Argentina

Thousands of people took part in the pride parades in Argentina and Chile Saturday.

Argentina’s 27th LGBTQ Pride March in Buenos Aires focused on demanding measures to include transgender, transsexual and transvestite people among those benefiting from workers’ rights.

The LGBT march in Santiago, Chile demanded approval of equal marriage and homoparental adoption.

Comprehensive Law on Trans People, or Law 14783 which would guarantee 1% of public administration posts be reserved for people identifying as transgendered, transexual, or transvesite was introduced in Aug. 2018, but has not been implemented.
