In 60 Seconds: Protesters Attack Police in Southern Ecuador

President Nicolas Maduro released new evidence of a plot to overthrow his government. Tensions simmered Tuesday in Ecuador's capital Quito, while in the southern province of Loja, protesters again resorted to violence, injuring various police officers. In Colombia, the government's lead negotiator in peace talks with the country's rebels, Humberto de la Calle, said that changes to the constitution may be on the table if these would ease the way to a peace agreement. The German parliament voted in favor of backing a third bailout for Greece. A heat wave in Egypt has killed 106 people since last week.
