At least 62 civilians were killed in three different attacks by the US-led coalition in the Suseh and Boudabran villages in Deir Ezzor, Thursday and Friday, in their alleged attempt to target Islamist groups in the region.

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) informed that airstrikes on the Alyat area in the Suseh village killed 15 people, mostly women and children, and that the number increased as another strike hit the Othman bin Affan mosque, killing another 37 and injuring dozens.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also reported on the event, registering 41 civilians killed, including at least ten children and four women, besides 11 alleged members of the Islamic State (IS).
The same organization claims many of the victims were Iraqi nationals, but didn’t make it clear if these were refugees, fighters, or anything else.
Another airstrike targeting the Ammar bin Yasser mosque in Boudabran, killed ten civilians.
Local sources told SANA the death toll is likely to rise as “most of the wounded sustained serious injuries as well as the difficulty of being evacuated from the rubble of houses destroyed by the airstrikes.”
During the last U.N. General Assembly the Syrian foreign minister, Walid Muallem demanded the US, Turkish and French forces immediately and unconditionally leave their territory.
SANA claims that since the coalition was formed under the pretext of fighting the IS, without green light from the security council, they have been “committing massacres against innocent civilians, killing hundreds of people and injuring others.”
The US-led coalition started its series of airstrikes with the internationally-banned white phosphorus bombs on Haij on October 13 in the same region, also killing an undetermined number of civilians.
