At a campaign rally in Michigan Friday, Republican Donald Trump told a crowd full of supporters not to hurt dissenting voices, adding “but if you do, I'll defend you in court.”
This is only the latest in a series of seemingly off the cuff remarks make by Trump inciting violence and discrimination.

The presidential candidate has been openly racist, discriminatory and has threatened the press, boasting that he would gladly punch a journalist if he could get away with it. He even pledged to eliminate freedom of the press if elected.
He has also refused to stop or denounce the violence at his campaign rallies after supporters have attacked protesters speaking out against him.
In Michigan Friday, he endorsed such actions, telling his audience that the attacks were “really amazing to watch” and made his rallies “the most fun.”
When another protester spoke up, Trump announced “Get him out! Try not to hurt him, but if you do I'll defend you in court,” reported Occupy Democrats.
The comments have shocked the media and those who oppose Trump, concerned that someone in that position of power and influence is openly supporting violence and silencing people's right to protest.
