Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte has seen his satisfaction rating drop by 11 points during the second quarter of 2018. The rating's decrease marks a new personal low for the head of state, according to the Second Quarter 2018 Social Weather Survey, or SWS.

The survey also found that Duterte's satisfaction points fell from 70 percent to 65 per cent in the month of June. Meanwhile, the head of state's dissatisfaction rating increased from 14 percent, in the first quarter, to 20 percent during the last polling period, according to the PhilStar Global.
“This 11-point decline is down by one grade from the very good +56 (70% satisfied, 14% dissatisfied) in March 2018. It surpassed the previous personal low of good +48 in September 2017,” SWS noted.
“I do not care,” Duterte shrugged while speaking to journalists in Pampanga on Tuesday. “Make it 15. Wala na ako dyan (It does not matter to me anymore). It does not interest me at all.”
He also said he would step down from the post if need be. “I just coast along...Just traveling...and with the new suggestions since I'm not popular anymore, Congress might decide to find a popular one. You want a popular president? Fine. Good.”
Ratings that exceed 70 are classified by SWS as being excellent. A rating between 50 and 69 are classified as very good. Ten to 29 is viewed as moderate and 9 to -9 as neutral.
Ratings between -10 and -29 are dubbed as poor; -30 to -49 as bad; -50 to -69 as very bad; and anything at -70 or below is execrable.
