The self-proclaimed 'president' of Venezuela Juan Guaidó returned to Bolivarian Republic last Tuesday after a tour of Europe and the United States, during which he called for more sanctions against the South American nation. On his arrival, citizens and workers who repudiated his presence received him.

Guaidó reportedly arrived at the international airport of Maiquetía in the Vargas State on Tuesday, which is a half-hour away from Caracas.
In a message on his official Twitter, Guaidó posted: “We are already in Caracas. I bring the promise of a free world, willing to help us to take back democracy and liberty. A new moment will initiate and it will not allow going back and that needs all of us doing what we have to do”.
The deputy would later slam the reception he received at the airport following his return to Venezuela.
Leonel Retalam, a reporter from Telesur in Venezuela, tweeted that “The people responded: they went there, (but) to confront him for his petitions of more sanctions against Venezuela and they seize the moment and asked his incarceration”.
At the Hall of the Airport, several groups of citizens and employees of the Venezuelan Consortium of Aeronautic Industries and Air Services (Conviasa) congregated and screamed to him: “! Get out!”, “Traitor”.
The administration of United States President Donald Trump imposed new restrictions on Conviasa, an airline with almost 2 000 workers.
In a video that circulated on social media networks, an employee of Conviasa claims to Guaidó, who asked Europe and the United States the endure of the sanctions against Venezuela. “Guaidó, you are a traitor to your country”, the worker express.
